"The Scream"

Fourth graders explored three possible theories behind Edvard Munch's "The Scream" painting. They learned about oil pastel techniques, color, and perspective, as they recreated their own versions of Munch's famous artwork. The students cut out photos of themselves and incorporated them into the artwork, which made this lesson fun for all! This learning segment was co-taught with mentor, Kelli Passmore.
