Snake Pots Inspired by the Catawba Indians

Second grade students compared and contrasted the traditional uses of Catawba pottery and today's cultures, discussed the pottery processes used by the Catawba tribe, and then created snake pots inspired by the Catawba Indians. Their artwork was displayed at Winthrop University with other area K-12 students' works also inspired by the Catawba Nation.
