Winthrop University Art Education interns collaborated with the Catawba Indian Nation and area K-12 schools to develop and teach lesson plans on diverse historical and creative aspects of Catawba culture. The project is the start of an ongoing relationship between Winthrop University, the Catawba Nation, and the York County community.
